The best to apply mascara is to look down, bring the mascara brush up from underneath & brush through the top of the lashes. It’s important to separate the lashes with a lash comb, look down & work the comb from the root of the lashes to the tips. Keep your eyes down for few seconds to allow the mascara to dry. A useful professional tip to get even closer to the roots of the lashes is to close the eye & use a small fan shape brush. This allows you to get close to the roots of the upper lashes. CURLING EYELASHES Before applying any eye makeup start by curling your eyelashes. It will open up the eyes & helps accentuate the eye area. Firstly look straight at the mirror, place the curler as close as possible to the roots of the lashes. Then close the curler, lifting it slightly upwards while looking down & hold for approx five seconds to set the lashes. Your curled lashes will make the eyes look bigger & lifted.
