EYE MAKEUP STYLES


ELONGATED EYES LOOK
You may want to elongate your eyes to make them up more almond shape. To do that concentrate color on the outer corners of he eyes. Start by dusting shadow on the outer corner of the upper eye using sweeping movements. Apply the same color on the outer corner of the lower lash line using the same sweeping movements, then apply a darker color tapering it up from the outer corner of the eye & work along the lower lash line tapering the color upwards & out. Finally use a brush sweeping upwards & outwards to elongate the eyes & blend the eye shades. Finish the look by defining the eyebrows.


BIG EYES LOOK
Almost everyone ants to make their look bigger it can be done with few simple tricks. Firstly apply a dark shade on the eye lid, using light motion is best to use. This will help to keep the pigment on the skin. Blend the shade over the eye lid using downwards strokes working towards the inner corner of the eye. This helps to control application. Apply same eye shade over the lower lash line close to the eye border, using a light pat brush stroke. Clean access eyeshade softly with puff powder. Use a kohl liner to define inner rim of the lower lash line & under the eye. Then close your eyes. Reapply the o & close eyes again & finally add mascara. The look is ready.


ROUND EYES MODIFIED AS BIG EYES
It’s not difficult to modify round eyes into bigger & more open eyes. Start shading the eye at the outer corner of the eye bringing towards the center of the eye lid. Use dabbing semi circle movements to dust color on, working across ½ of the eye lid. Then use dabbing semi circle movements from the edge towards the center of the eye. Apply a slightly lighter shade of the same color, making sure not to fully reach the original application on the outer eye. Fill middle eye lid with new lighter color & apply dark original color under the eye & blend all colors well. Apply liner on the upper eye lid & finish by defining the eye brows & application of mascara.


NATURAL SOCKET LINE
In any type of eye makeup socket line plays an important role. For beginners defining socket line is difficult but practice makes a man perfect & by applying one rule helps beginners in defining socket line. Keeping eyes open helps to find natural socket line. Always trace it with light & soft colors with a pointed edged thin brush & then apply desired color on it.


3D EYES LOOK
To give 3D effect to the eyes, firstly apply color dabbing into the socket line to give eye depth, and then add more color starting at the outer corner. Blend along the socket line towards the inner corner of the eye. Trace the same socket line with a darker color bringing it from the outer corner, only 1/2 way across the eye. Blend the darker & lighter shades together. Next apply the color on lid dabbing it. Finish the look with dark eye brow pencil on the eyebrows. Accentuate the inner corner of the eyebrows with a pencil working ½ way across the eyebrows. Softly brush color to softly fade out to the outer corners of the eyebrows.


ONE SHADE SOFT LOOK
To achieve one shade soft look, apply color wash close to the skin tone on the entire eye including lid, socket line & eyebrow bone. Then apply any soft shade of any color e.g. light mauve, beige, baby pink or coffee brown etc on the entire eye excluding the eye brow bone. Blend evenly & apply thin eye liner & mascara for soft look. Apply white shade on the eyebrow bone to enhance the bone. Finally shape up the eyebrows with eyebrow pencil along the natural hair growth, giving it a soft & natural look.
